  54.     STEP 4: Double click on '3.5" Floppy Drive A'

  59.         but you must remember this to be able to run the game.

  69. THE STORY SO FAR...

  72. In the year 2095 an Alien Nation from a distant galaxy are planning to 
  73. conquer the Earth.The alien beings have destroyed several planets in our solar
  74. system sending huge meteors hurtling towards earth.
  75. These meteors are big enough to destroy cities and kill millions of people.
  76. A lone Starfighter pilot is sent from the NASA space academy in a new prototype
  77. spacecraft to stop the destruction of our planet.
  78. But this is only the beginning the alien nation is still heading towards earth
  79. How Long Until they Arrive ?..................................

  84. Meteor Invasion 2095 is based on the classic arcade game 'Asteroids'
  85. a simple game but with so much playability it'll keep you up 
  86. blasting away all night long.
  87. Meteor Invasion adds cool rendered graphics to this classic game with new 
  88. sounds,power-ups and four stylish action packed zones this has got to be the 
  89. best 'asteroid' blast'em up in light years.  
  90. There is a choice of two difficulty levels 'Rookie' and the mega hard 
  91. 'Master Blaster'.
  92. The 'Rookie' level gives you a standard 60 secs to destroy each wave of asteroids
  93. and 5 starfighters.
  94. The 'Master Blaster' level gives you only 45 secs to destroy the on-slaught of
  95. asteroids and 3 starfighters.

  99. A word of warning beware of alien space craft they have a cloaking technology
  100. and can appear at any time and disappear again ! BEWARE !

  102. PLAYER CONTROLS

  105. Press 'Enter'  key to select an option.
  106. Press 'Escape' key anytime during the game to quit to MAIN MENU.
  107. Press 'F5' when the boss walks in or to pause the game.

  135. SCREEN LAYOUT

  138. In the far left hand corner of the level screens you will see your current number
  139. of lives represented by a small starfighter for each life you have.
  140. You also have an energy bar to tell you how much power your starfighter has left
  141. until it explodes into a million pieces.
  142. You will also see a small H Power pod icon,this tells you how many Hyper Space
  143. manouvers you have left.
  144. A timer ticks away in the top right hand corner this is how long you have left to 
  145. complete the level and finally but most importantly your score.

  173. It was a very early version V0.99 but here's what they said " The screen display is
  174. good -a moody backdrop of stars and planets with textured meteors coming at you

  176. size and moves smoothly.Nicely Playable.

  226. Meteor Invasion 2095 employs highly optimisied graphic drivers.
  227. On a few graphic cards these graphic drivers may not work properly ( program will
  228. crash and fail to start-up on intro screen ).
  229. If this happens to you ,you have to select the "Standard Windows Driver" option 
  230. from the Setup-Install program.
